Once again Valentines Day has arrived,
As I sit here and contemplate with butterflies inside
It is time to toss all hang-ups aside,
As I muster the courage to tell you with pride
Your long auburn hair waves in the breeze,
As you stroll on the beach along by the sea.
As the breeze blows gentle across your face,
I sit here and watch your movements of grace.
I can only dream of what might have been,
As my eyes gaze at the picture way back then.
I want to be honest I want you to know,
That I think you're now more beautiful,
Than you were in those days of old.
Someone asked me to name the time,
Of when our love became sublime.
I searched high and low but could not find,
It within the vast regions of my mind.
